Why not?

I suppose the real answer to that question is that Levenshulme has so much going for it for such a small place.

When I moved here, it was hard to know what was worth checking out - some local friends showed us around and we quickly got to know where those margaritas were hidin'.

So think of this website as those friends - the ones showing you around Levenshulme for the very first time.

It's all fine and dandy having a website. But the plan is to find ways to support and grow the Levenshulme community.

There's a few things I'd like to look at, like:

• sharing the stories of real people and businesses
• showcasing guest writers and contributors
• creating a warm, welcoming community on social media
